Binance.US is looking for a Loss Prevention Specialist to join its Risk team. This role develops and performs processes to reduce financial exposure associated with high-risk account activity.

What You'll Do

• As a Risk Specialist, you will leverage your natural analytical and problem-solving skills while working in a dynamic environment. You will conduct time-sensitive Account-Based Reviews that require a high level of attention to detail
• You will work collaboratively with the Binance.US Customer Success team to ensure customer concerns are handled in a timely manner. You will also collaborate and escalate complex cases, including new trends within the Risk team. Additionally, you will be a voice of the customer by identifying trends, issues, and suggesting improvements to processes, policies, and products
• The ideal candidate is passionate and possesses strong judgment and good instincts. Has working knowledge of standard financial services policies and procedures, including NACHA, and other applicable laws and regulations pertaining to ACH, wires, and debit cards. Also, has a strong knowledge of money laundering, including suspicious activity monitoring and CIP. Plus, the ability to contribute to team success in a department where co-workers are highly interdependent
• This role requires taking action in a fast-paced environment and making important decisions under pressure. You are a passionate individual who possesses strong judgment and good instincts, as well as a curious and inquiring mind and one who earns trust by delivering results

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience within crypto, technology, or financial services
• Familiarity with financial risk, fraud prevention and chargeback/customer disputes
• Comfortable with securing accounts by placing blocks to prevent financial loss
• Computer competency to conduct research, correspond with customers and colleagues, leverage data, and monitor activity
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Communicates (verbal and written) complex issues in ways that the customer easily understands and can successfully apply the solution
• Able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload
• Adept at being a change agent by bringing solutions/ideas to tackle any problem
• A self-starter who works independently and resolves issues with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize in an ambiguous environment

Bonus Points

• Data exploration and analysis in spreadsheets (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc.)

The starting base pay for this role is between $75,000 and $88,000 USD for all U.S. remote locations. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skillsets, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
