ABOUT THE ROLE

Cactus Custody is an institutional security and advanced enterprise cryptocurrency management system for storage, trading, DeFi, earning and more.

The Head of Custody is a leadership role overseeing the Custody business’ sales, business development and operations, as well as managing P&L and people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the next generation product development and go-to-market strategy;
• Develop new strategies, innovative service & product to support business growth;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key institutional clients, regularly gather client feedback and cascade them internally for continuous improvements;
• Identify opportunities and facilitate partnerships across global offices, elevate the firm’s branding and client coverage capabilities;
• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends, lead relevant innovative changes to ensure a market leading position is maintained at all times;
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams, build and lead a next generation institutional custodian solution for digital assets;
• Identify efficiency gaps, implement best practices to ensure a world-class custodian business operation, including pre/post-sales, account management and technologies;
• Host events and represent the firm’s brand at industry conferences / seminars.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in business, finance, engineering or related disciplines;
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and/or fintech industry and 1 to 2 years in crypto industry;
• Strong track record in building successful institutional-grade products and growing market share;
• Passionate about cryptocurrency and able to adapt to the agile, fast-paced, constantly changing blockchain / cryptocurrency market;
• Sound knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptography;
• Strong understanding of financial markets, rules and regulations of the cryptocurrency industry;
• Excellent in relationship building with and engaging with institutional clients;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, due to the need to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders both internally and externally.
