Job Title: Technical Associate | Crypto & Trading

Salary: $59K - $74K + Benefits

About:

Our client is a technology provider in the exciting world of professional cryptocurrency order routing and execution. Their clients rely on their technology to execute trades in fiat to crypto base pairs, cryptocurrency derivatives—including options and futures—and other related asset classes.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years support or other back-office experience in either the traditional or cryptocurrency financial markets, with a solid knowledge and understanding of related terms and workflows.

Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, RDS, or Microsoft SQL a plus.

Experience with Red Hat Linux or related distributions a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Client support via chat and email, including:

• Onboarding
• Training
• Technical assistance
• FIX certification and support (FIX protocol 4.4)
• Preparing client reports

1. Monitor connectivity between Mercury and various cryptocurrency exchanges across multiple environments
2. Feature testing and documentation
3. Product documentation
4. Process documentation

Requirements:

1. 1+ years professional experience in trading or financial markets support
2. 24/7 on-call rotation – nights and weekends
3. Strong competency with the English language, both written and verbal
4. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, RDS, or Microsoft SQL
5. Experience with Red Hat Linux or related distributions

1. Must be able to type quickly and competently while communicating effectively and politely with multiple clients across multiple chats
2. Multi-tasking and work well under pressure
3. Must be able to take ownership of tasks and work toward a goal with minimal direction
4. Must be able to work as part of a team

6. Technical knowledge, including Windows, iOS, and Android
7. Financial markets knowledge
